State Administration Council’s Information Team issued a statement that State Peace Talk team and peace delegation led by Chairman of Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS signed agreements reached within three day meeting.
A meeting between the State Peace Talk Team and the peace delegation led by the Chairman of the Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS was held at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre’s meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw on September 1.
Present on the occasion were State Administration Council Member and Union Minister at the Union Government Office, Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee, Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and members: SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC, and RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk, Secretary (1) Sao Sai Ngin and Central Executive Committee Member Sao Saung Han.
Later, they discussed matters on peace and development and singed agreements reached within three-day discussion.
Afterwards, RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk and Peace Talk Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae delivered closing speeches.
