Shock tube detonator worth over Ks.130 million was seized in Manwein border checkpoint at the Myanmar-China border on May 25.

Myanmar-China team working at the Manwein border checkpoint inspected a truck with a Chinese license plate and seized 95400 shock tube detonators.

That truck was droved by a substitute Chinese driver and the authorities were investigating the driver who was going to receive the truck.

Muse Township Police Station is working for arresting the driver of the explosives, those orders to transport and owner. It is the second time that Muse Police station seized a large number of shock tube detonators.

On March 27,Yaypu checkpoint in Thenni seized 41100 electronic detonators and 32700 shock tube detonator worth over Ks.120 million.
