Moreover, we launched surprised checks on the vehicles because vehicles will carry the drugs and arms or not and interrogation tasks on the foreigners. We are going to patrol daily night,” said Police Lt-Col. Thet Oo.

While launching the surprised checks on the vehicles, six Chinese citizens were found in front of Six frogs Monastery and they were temporarily detained because they didn’t have passports and visas. However, the driver who was Myanmar citizen accompanied with six Chinese citizens was released because he had showed his officially documents to the Immigration Department.

As flow of foreigners especially Chinese increased, the locals wanted to carry out interrogation activities in accordance with the law because the foreigners were most unruly after drinking the alcohol.
