SAC chairman departs for Belarus to attend EEF 2025

At the invitation of the President of Belarus, the Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC) Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, departed for Belarus this morning (June 25) aboard a special aircraft to attend the 4th Europe-Asia Economic Forum (EEF 2025).

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing is visiting Belarus officially to attend the forum, which will be held in Minsk, at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, the President of Belarus and the current rotating chair of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

During the visit, the SAC is scheduled to participate in the 4th Europe-Asia Economic Forum (EEF 2025), hold bilateral talks with the President of Belarus, meet with the Chairman of the Europe-Asia Economic Commission Board, visit factories and workplaces.

The visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in friendship, economics, and security, and to strengthen strategic partnerships across multiple sectors between the two countries. It will also focus on economic development cooperation between Myanmar and EAEU member states.

Additionally, at the invitation of Alexey Sambuevich Tsydenov, the Head of the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing will continue his visit to Buryatia via Belarus. There, he is expected to tour notable sites as well as factories and industrial facilities.

Accompanying the Prime Minister on this trip are members of the State Administration Council, government ministers, senior military officials, and regional-level high-ranking officers.
