Two security guards were injured when robbers tried a second attempt to rob the TT Diamond jewelry store in Kamaryut Township on November 24.

Three people arrived in a vehicle at the TT Diamond jewelry store in Ward 1, Baho Road, Kamaryut Township at about 1:00 pm on November 24. After that, the three people were prevented from entering the shop by the security guards.

Two of the three men shot and stabbed two security guards.

"We know that they came in a car. There are two security guards at the jewelry store. One of them was stabbed. The other was shot with a gun. We heard gunshots," said a resident near the area.

After the shooting, the three men fled in the vehicle they were riding in.

TT Diamond jewelry store is located on a busy Baho Road, and there was a lot of pedestrians and traffic at the time of the incident, according to residents who live nearby.

On August 25, the TT Diamond jewelry store was robbed of 20 platinum necklaces worth ten million kyats. This is the second time but no gold and silver jewelry was taken.
