Health screening is being carried out in Myawaddy Friendship Bridge at the Myanmar-Thai border.

In the past, health screening was only carried out on Chinese citizens and foreigners but now Myanmar citizens have to undergo health screening at the border gates.

Those suspects with Coronavirus have to go 14 day quarantine. Using modern medical equipment, health screening is carried out at both Friendship Bridge no-1 and 2. Since January 26, Health staff have been conducting health screening bit till now, there are no suspected patients.

Moreover, health monitoring is being carried out in Thaungyin river jetty and there is no suspected case of Corona virus according to a nurse who doesn’t identify herself.
