President U Min Aung Hlaing left for Thailand on the morning of August 6 for an official visit at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
Leading a Myanmar delegation, President U Min Aung Hlaing will visit Thailand from August 6 to 7. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is scheduled to welcome the Myanmar president during the visit.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Myanmar and Thailand and promote cooperation within the ASEAN framework.
During the visit, the two sides are also expected to sign memorandums of understanding and attend the Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum 2026.
