A 25-year-old female employee at the GOGO PARK amusement centre died after falling from the sixth floor of Thumingalar Market in Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Region, on the morning of September 22, according to information obtained from Pyin Oo Lwin Myoma Police Station.

The deceased was identified as Ma Sandy Pyae Sone Kyaw, who was reportedly wearing her GOGO PARK staff uniform at the time of the incident.

The woman is believed to have fallen from the sixth floor at around 9 a.m. and landed in an empty plot beside the market, according to a shop owner at Thumingalar Market.

“People said she fell from the sixth floor, where the GOGO PARK amusement centre is located. As she landed in an empty plot beside the market, not many people noticed what had happened,” the shop owner said.

There have also been unconfirmed reports that she may have jumped following relationship difficulties. However, the exact circumstances remain unclear and are still under investigation.

A representative of Thantithukha Social Assistance Association, which assisted at the scene, said no conclusive information about the cause of the incident was available.

Pyin Oo Lwin Myoma Police Station has opened a death investigation into the case.
