A vehicle overturned after a brake failure on Lahe-Nanyon Road in Khamti District, Sagaing Region, killing a man and injuring seven other men, Myanmar Fire Services Department reported.

The accident happened at about 1.30pm on July 23 in which a white Forland overturned due to a faulty brake.

Receiving information about the accident, firefighters from Lahe Township Fire Station rushed to the scene for rescue work. 

In the car accident, one man was killed and seven men were injured. All the injured were sent to Lahe Township People’s Hospital. Three of the seven injured are in serious condition, the department reported.
