A light truck hit pedestrians on gravel road in Lanmadaw Township, killing one person and injuring three others, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department (MFSD).

The incident occurred at around 2:38 pm on November 20. The Kyauktada Township Fire Station dispatched a fire truck to the scene after receiving reports that a light truck had overspeed and hit pedestrians on a gravel rod in Maw Tin temporary market Ward, Lanmadaw Township, Yangon Region.

One man died and three others were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to hospital by nearby people, while the deceased was taken to Yangon General Hospital by ambulance from the Aye Metta Social Welfare Association, according to the MFSD.
