PETALING JAYA: (The Star/ANN) The North Korean embassy on Jalan Batai, Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur has been vandalised.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Ruslan Khalid said four unidentified men had painted graffiti on the outer walls of the embassy around 3am on Monday.

“They were tall and wearing hats and face masks,” he said when contacted.

ACP Ruslan said there were several words and symbols written on the walls including “Freedom for Korea”.

“We are investigating this incident at all angles including it being the work of mischievous youths,” he said.

The graffiti was later covered with a fresh coat of paint by the embassy staff.

The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for causing mischief.
