Spokesperson of State Administration Council (SAC) Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun said in a press brief held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on July 26 that he didn’t want to give specific comment on the ASEAN’s special envoy’s saying but nothing is impossible in politics.

He said these words when a journalist asked him concerning the news that there are possibilities of meeting Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and Cambodian Foreign Minister and special envoy of ASEAN in a press brief in Nay Pyi Taw on July26.

“I have already answered this to some news agencies. Concerning this news, first and foremost I wanted to say that nothing is impossible in politics. I don’t want to give any remark on ASEAN’s special envoy’s talk. The second thing I want to say is there is nothing impossible in politics,” said Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun. 

Prak Sokhonn, who is Cambodia’s foreign minister and ASEAn’s special envoy, said that chairman of SAC Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing gave a pledged to him that there is a firm possibility that he may meet with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. 

During his second visit to Myanmar from June 29 to July 3, Prak Sokhonn met with Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing.
