Of 35 polling stations in Seikkyikhanaungto Township, 30 have seen the National League for Democracy win, said Kaung Htet Paing Tun, youth in charge from the NLD.

This township is the constituency where Union Solidarity and Development Party vice chairman Khin Yi contested for a lower house seat.

“Votes have been counted. We have not got the lists from some polling stations. Of the 35, 30 have given us the list. We have won for all— the lower house, the upper house and Region parliament (1) and regional parliament (2),” Kaung Htet Paing Tun said.

He said the results from the remaining 15 polling booths are still being collected.

The NLD candidates competing in Seikkyikhanaungto Township are Tin Tun Naing for the lower house, Kyaw Soe Moe Lwin for the upper house, Min Naing Tun in the regional constituency (1) and Tin Hsan in the regional constituency (2).
