Myanmar’s national gymnast Ye Tun Naung achieved a remarkable victory, winning the gold medal in the 15th World Championship of Bodybuilding, held in the Maldives from November 5th to 11th.

Competing as the sole representative of Myanmar's bodybuilding team, Ye Tun Naung triumphed in the 75 kg bodybuilding class, outperforming all competitors.

This win adds to his impressive achievements in 2023, as Ye Tun Naung also secured gold in the Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship held in Indonesia in August.

Last year, he won silver at both the World and Asian Championships, but this year he reached new heights by claiming gold at both international events.

The Myanmar Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation has seen growing success in recent years, with Ye Tun Naung’s achievements marking a series of victories for Myanmar at the Southeast Asian level and in prestigious global bodybuilding competitions.
