A Myanmar citizen working in a town of Chonburi province, Thailand, has been arrested for killing his wife with a hammer on March 17.

The man was nabbed on March 18 in another town of the same province.

The 36-year-old woman said to be working together with her husband was hammered to death by him after a quarrel.

As the quarrel intensified, the man hit his wife’s head with a hammer. Aid organizations arrived at the scene promptly and tried to save her, but she later died.

The man in the habit of drinking alcohol has been working on a construction site for about two weeks.
