Myanmar U-21 to participate in Vietnam U-21 Invitational Football Tournament

Myanmar U-21 men’s football squad is going to participate in Vietnam U-21 Invitational Football Tournament to be held in Vietnam during December, said a source of Myanmar Football Federation (MFF).

As part of preparations for taking part in the international football tournaments including the Vietnam U-21 Invitational Football Tournament, Myanmar U-21 will conduct a constant training. Myanmar U-21 will continue doing the training without breaking down after participating in the Vietnamese Invitational Football Tournament.

The Vietnam U-21 Invitational Football Tournament is scheduled from December 8 to 18. Myanmar U-21 will take part in the three major international football tournaments during 2019. Myanmar U-21 will take part in AFF U-22 Championship in February, AFC U-23 Qualifier in March and 30th SEA Games in November during 2019. 

Myanmar U-21 has begun training since October 2 and it is being steered by U Kyi Lwin. Myanmar U-21 takes part in Vietnam U-21 Invitational Football Tournament every year. In 2017, Myanmar U-21 won the third-placed prize beating Thailand.
