Myanmar reports 381 new patients and two deaths on Sept 28

Myanmar found 381 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on September 28 bringing total number of patients to 622,423 and infection rate is 3.17 per cent, according to an announcement from Ministry of Health (MOH).

A total of 12,011 samples were tested between 8 pm of September 27 and 8 pm of September 28 and found 381 patients. Two more people died from the virus bringing total number of death tolls to 19,457, according to a report from the ministry.

The samples were tested in labs under the MOH, using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states, at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, at No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, at No.9 100-Bed Military Hospital in Lashio, at private hospitals and labs and using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in hospitals and public health departments in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states.

A total of 250 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospitals on September 28 bringing total number to 597,671, it said.
