Myanmar reports 332 new Covid-19 cases

A total of 332 new Covid-19 cases were detected during the past 24 hours after 24333 lab samples were tested, the Ministry of Health announced on the night of February 6.

Those lab samples were tested from 8pm of February 5 to 8pm of February 6.

Up till 8pm of February 6 from the start of the outbreak in Myanmar, 6,521,501 lab samples were tested and 537,901 cases confirmed. 

Moreover on February 6, 124 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The samples were tested in labs under the MOH, using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, all regions and states, at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, at No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, at No.9 100-Bed Military Hospital in Lashio, at private hospitals and labs and using Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in hospitals and public health departments in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, all regions and states.
