Myanmar reported 130 new Covid-19 cases, one death on April 29

A total of 130 new Covid-19 cases were found, and one patient died in Myanmar during the past 24 hours from 8pm of April 28 to 8pm of April 29 after 11,417 samples had been tested, the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported on the night of April 29.

It is the highest number of cases since the end of Thingyan Water Festival.

Since the pandemic outbreak till 8pm of April 29 in the country, there were 634,806 Covid-19 cases and 19,492 deaths. 

Covid-19 samples are tested in labs under the MOH, using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states, at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, at No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, at No.9 100-Bed Military Hospital in Lashio, at private hospitals and labs and using Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in hospitals and public health departments in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states.
