U Win Myint, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, has sent a message of sympathy on 3 February, to Chinese President Xi Jinping, for the loss of lives due to the recent outbreak of the 2018 nCov virus epidemic in Wuhan of China, according to the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

In his message, the President expressed his belief that under the able leadership of Mr. Xi Jingping along with the solidarity of the Chinese people and its advanced medical technology, the People’s Republic of China will be able to successfully contain the outbreak of the epidemic and overcome the difficulties at the shortest possible time. Moreover, Myanmar also expresses its readiness to work with China in finding ways to overcome this virus outbreak.
