The Myanmar Post Office has announced the release of a special commemorative stamp series highlighting traditional Myanmar costumes from various historical periods. The collection, designed to promote awareness and appreciation of the nation’s cultural heritage, will go on sale starting 20 June at 9:30 AM.

The special edition features a block of 12 individual stamps, each priced at K200, for a total of K2,400 per set. The stamps showcase traditional attire worn by Myanmar men and women through the ages, offering both cultural value and appeal for collectors.

The new stamps will be available at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, as well as post offices in Yangon, Mandalay, and other regional and state post offices across the country.

As part of a one-day special promotion, stamps purchased on 20 June (Friday) at the Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, and Mandalay post offices will be affixed with a commemorative date stamp.
