Myanmar extends COVID-19 control measures to August 15

The National Central Committee for Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19 has extended control measures to August 15 although most of the Yangon city dwellers return to normal life. In the meantime, the Ministry of Health and Sports has issued public gatherings instead of not more than 5 people  to  15 people on July 29.

The statement issued that in order to control the spread of COVID-19; the instruction issued by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 has extended to August 15.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar as at 8:00 pm on July 29 is 351 with 6 deaths and 292 recovered by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
