The Myanmar Embassy in Thailand has issued a warning to its citizens in Thailand not to travel to the Thai-Cambodian border, where the conflict is ongoing.

Myanmar citizens in Thailand are advised to avoid traveling to the Thai-Cambodian border area and to be aware of their own safety to avoid any unwanted incidents amid the ongoing conflict between the two countries, announced the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok.

Thailand and Cambodia are friendly countries with Myanmar and are also ASEAN members, and Myanmar believes that the current problems between the two countries can be resolved peacefully, the embassy said.
