Myanmar delegation led by SAC Chairman returns from Russia

A high-level Myanmar delegation led by State Administration Council Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing returned to Nay Pyi Taw on May 10 after a goodwill visit to Russia.

The visit, from May 7 to 10, was made to attend the military parade in Moscow commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945). On May 9, the Senior General attended the parade at Moscow’s Red Square alongside world leaders and special guests.

After the event, he also joined an official luncheon hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During the visit, the Senior General held bilateral meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh. These meetings focused on strengthening diplomatic relations, mutual cooperation, and friendship.

The delegation included his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, senior military officials, Union ministers, and members of the State Administration Council.
