He made this statement regarding discussions held during the visit of the SAC Chairman to China from November 5 to 10.
Major General Zaw Min Tun said, “Regarding the economy, we met with Chinese business owners in Kunming and Chongqing who are interested in investing in Myanmar. The discussions were successful. Many are eager to invest in Myanmar. From our side, we believe that it is crucial for the relevant authorities to actively and enthusiastically implement the Action Plans based on what was accomplished in China. We also anticipate that China’s One Belt One Road initiative, including the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor (CMR) projects, will be further enhanced soon.”

He further noted that China reiterated its recognition and support for Myanmar’s sovereignty and stability, just as it has in the past.
Major General Zaw Min Tun said, “China made it clear that it does not accept any organizations or groups opposing Myanmar and its interests operating from Chinese territory. Similarly, Myanmar reaffirmed its recognition of China’s policies. Myanmar also emphasized its commitment to ensuring that no anti-China groups could operate within its territory.
