The reciprocal visa-free travel agreement between Myanmar and Belarus has officially entered into force, allowing eligible citizens of both countries to stay in the other country for up to 90 days within a calendar year, according to announcements issued by Myanmar embassies abroad.
The agreement, signed between the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on November 28, 2025, became effective on July 8, 2026.
Under the agreement, citizens of Myanmar and Belarus holding valid passports may enter the other country without a visa and stay for up to 30 days per visit, provided they comply with the host country's laws and regulations.
The agreement also stipulates that the total period of stay under the visa-free arrangement must not exceed 90 days within a single calendar year in the territory of the other contracting state.
The information was announced by the Embassy of Myanmar in Seoul, Republic of Korea, as part of notifications issued by Myanmar diplomatic missions overseas.
