Myanmar head coach Mr Antoine Hey said he believed Myanmar would see a further win over Laos in the away match of AFF Suzuki Cup 2018. 

Myanmar got a bright start to its debut home match against Cambodia 4-1 at Mandalar Thiri Stadium on 12 November.

“We are participating in AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 through an ambitious spirit. We are now placing attention to the away match against Laos. We ought not to underestimate the play form of the opponents Laos in spite of the latter facing two defeats, but they have home advantages. They are hungry for home victory,” said Mr Antoine Hey.

We must try not to be careless in the match against Laos. This match is of great importance for us. If we win this match, our hope of reaching the seminal will brighten. We need to obtain full points before meeting with two powerhouse teams. Even if we win over Laos, we will have to mend our weak points as part of preparation for next games. We will try to start a game with best form, said Mr Antoine Hey.

Myanmar left for Laos by air on 13 November and has started training starting from 14 November. Myanmar will meet Laos for the second time. In the first time, Myanmar won over Laos with 4-2 in 1996.
