Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) is operating the Yangon-Singapore-Yangon route once a day and there will be two flights on every Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays from April 23, sources said.
Yangon-Singapore round-trip fare is US$380. The Yangon-Bangkok trip starts at US$89 and the Yangon-Chiang Mai trip starts at US$160.
With the MNA Mobile Application of the MNA, users will be able to view flight information, and make ticket purchases and payments easily.
Passengers who have booked to buy the MNA’s flight tickets will be able to enter the ticket number at www.flymna.com and check it before paying.
Passengers can check by entering their last name and the 6-digit booking reference in the upper right corner of the ticket or the ticket number starting with serial number 66 in the find booking section of www.flymna.com before paying.
The airline is operating Yangon-Bangkok flights daily and Yangon-Chiang Mai flight three times a week, and a 15 percent discount can be obtained just by showing the boarding pass at King Power outlets in Thailand.
Online check-in service will be available in Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay and other domestic trips where the airline is flying. The service is only available for domestic flights and can be done anytime between 24 hours and 75 minutes before the departure time of the flight. The printed E-Boarding pass can be shown at the gate and boarded.
The airlines offers Yangon-Bangkok round trip starting from US$74 and Yangon-Chiang Mai round-trip starting from US$160.
Starting from October 2022, foreigners entering Thailand will be able to stay in Thailand for Visa Free from 30 to 45 days and Myanmar citizens also get a 45-day Visa Free period.
It is reported that Singapore Airlines has started flying the Singapore-Yangon-Singapore route using the new Boeing 737-8 aircraft as a new aircraft type upgrade.
On March 26, 2023, Singapore Airlines launched a Singapore-Yangon-Singapore flight using a new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, and passengers from Singapore Airlines were welcomed with souvenirs by the airline and Yangon International Airport.
The new type of Boeing 737-8 aircraft has become part of the Singapore Airlines fleet. The upgrades to the new aircraft will provide passengers with a better and safer air travel experience.
