A 26-year-old man who had close contact with a virus-confirmed female patient in Singapore is placed in quarantine at Kyaukpadaung Township Hospital, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports.
He arrived back from Singapore on 26 February. He was in close contact with the confirmed Myanmar patient in Singapore. Staff from the ministry of health and sports inspected the airline’s record and traced him via the health declaration form. According to the investigation, he arrived in Kyaukpadaung Township.
Healthcare staff is also monitoring his wife at the same hospital.
