Myanmar-Korea friendship bridge (Yangon-Dala) bridge started its construction work in 2019 and stopped temporarily due to COVID-19 pandemic. The following photos have been taken on March 31 after its resume construction work.

Yangon-Dala bridge construction is being organized by Ministry of Construction and being constructed with the loan from the Republic of Korea Economic Development Cooperation Fund-EDCF. The construction of the bridge has been completed 54 percent.

The bridge is 1868 metre long and 26.5 metre wide. From Yangon side, there are 2 lanes Approach Bridge from Dala to Phone Gyi Road, from Dala, there is a one way bridge leading to Sule Pagoda, downtown Yangon along Strand Road, and from Dala, there is another one way bridge along Strand Road to Ahlone Township totaling three bridges.

Under the main bridge, the clearance is 49 metres (160 feet) high and the width is 301 meter (998 feet). The bridge has a four lane road each measuring 4 metre in width. The weight of the bridge is 75 tonnes per vehicle.
