The emergency department of the 500-bed Lashio General Hospital in northern Shan State has officially reopened as of the morning of May 5.

According to hospital sources, doctors and healthcare workers are now back on duty, providing medical services to patients during two daily shifts — from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
