Ks4.5bn hotel and resort project (Mizan island) approved in Hpa-an

UHM Development Co Ltd has been granted permission to implement a hotel and resort project (Mizan island) near Hpa-an, Kayin State, with an investment of Ks4.5 billion including US$0.411 million, according to Kayin State Investment Committee. 

The committee meeting (5/2020) on December 24 approved the project to be implemented on 10.72 acres of land in Mizan Village-tract, Hpa-an Township. The project will create 77 local jobs.

Likewise, Ayeyawady Region Investment Committee allowed Dong Long (Myaungmya) Garment Co Litd to set up a CMP clothes making business in Kwinlwe Village-tract in Myaungmya with a full foreign direct investment, according to the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration.

The permission was granted at the committee’s meeting (9/2020) and that garment factory will provide 3,530 local jobs in Ayeyawady Region.

The investment committee approved another full local investment to be made by Pearl Ayar Company on the Ngwehsaung Beach for hotel and resort services that will create 71 jobs.

Yangon Region Investment Committee also approved Dagon Win Garment Factory Company Limited to invest US$0.904 million in CMP clothes making in Hlinethaya Industrial Zone in Yangon with the creation of 600 jobs.
