Government army successfully seizes Taungyoe Phayagon temporarily stationed by TNLA insurgents

Tatmadaw (defence services) successfully seized Taungyoe Phayagon the insurgents of TNLA had temporarily stationed, at the distance of about 4,000 meters, in the northwest of Namhsan, northern Shan State on September 17.

Taking the advantage of the ceasefire period by Tatmadaw, the insurgents of TNLA were committing destructive acts in Namhsan, the seat of the government taking the cover of religious structures with the help of supporting fire, the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).

The clashes between Tatmadaw military columns taking security measures and the TNLA broke out for six times from September 13 to 16. The conflict-effected area has been under control, the Tatmadaw reported.

 Tatmadaw (defence services) successfully seized Taungyoe Phayagon the insurgents of TNLA had temporarily stationed with the help of supporting fire at about 6.50 am on September 17.

Tatmadaw seized five motorbikes, 45 fire trenches taking the cover of religious structures and five bunkers and that some military officer lost lives and some of the officers and other ranks sustained injuries, according to the report of Tatmadaw.
