Four coronavirus suspects from Kengtung, Waibargi, Loikaw and Nay Pyi Taw hospitals have tested negative according to tests from a laboratory referred by World Health Organization, the Ministry of Health and Sports reported on February 5. 

As the ministry speeds up virus monitoring, 10 people—two suspected of having symptoms and eight under investigation—were being watched at respective hospitals till February 5. Their samples, including nasopharyngeal swabs, were sent to the reference laboratory. 

According to the press release issued by the ministry, lab tests show that four were tested negative. They are a Chinese girl aged 1 year and 2 months old at Kengtung People's Hospital, a Chinese boy aged 15 at Waibargi Special Hospital, a Myanmar girl aged 2 years and 2 months at Loikaw People's Hospital and a Chinese man aged 29 at Nay Pyi Taw Hospital (1000-bed). All of them came from China. 

The ministry will release further information about the remaining patients when the lab results come out.
