Five banks resumed mobile banking services via mobile data: CBM

AYA Bank, KBZ Bank, Innwa Bank, CB Bank and Ayeyarwady Farmers Development Bank (A Bank) have resumed providing mobile banking services using mobile internet and additional services will be announced, announced Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) on April 29 in state owned media.

The announcement said the CBM is trying to provide mobile banking services in the time when the mobile internet services are cut off temporarily across the country.

The functions via mobile banking services such as mobile banking, internet banking, mobile top-up, other cards top-up, bill payments, visa, master, credit card payment, MPU cards, ATMs, account to account transfer, wallet to wallet, bank to wallet and wallet and bank through payment systems from banks and CCT function from the CBM Net, are start provided for the public from April 28 and additional services and banks will be notified to the public, it said.
