The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has invited Myanmar intellectuals and intelligentsia living abroad to participate in State welfare efforts.

The ministry issued a statement in January saying that those educated Myanmar citizens living in other countries, if they are willing to contribute to national welfare tasks, can contact the Consular and Legal Affairs Department, respective Myanmar embassies in foreign countries or Myanmar Permanent Representative’s Office / Myanmar Consulate General. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has drawn up a web portal for the convenience of applicants in contacting those departments. 

The website address is http://www.mofa.gov.mm/volunteer-submit-form. 

After receiving applications from those volunteers, the ministry will contact and coordinate with relevant ministries, departments and organizations. 

Then, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will make replies after the standard operation procedure.
