YANGON---- Around 70-aged couple was stabbed to death at the apartment in Mingalar Taungnyunt Township, Yangon Region yesterday night, according to the nearby residents.

 “A boy who had to massage the couple can’t call the victims. Later, he informed the peoples living from their apartment’s downstairs and then the neighbouring residents together with the authorities came into the apartment and the couple was found stabbed to death,” said one of the neighbouring residents.

The victims were retired teachers and they lived at the apartment in the Mandalay Street of Mingalar Taungnyunt Township, Yangon Region, and many years ago. One of the dwellers said that their belongings were taken away.

The accident occurred near the crowded area where there have been many sellers.

The authorities are now investigating the murder case.
