State Administration Council news information team issued a statement that some members of police were killed and some were injured, as well as some weapons were seized by CDF during CDF attacked at a township police station in Htantalan, Chin State.

CDF attacked that station and the security camp in southern part of the town on the night of February 8 till in the morning of February 9, the statement said.

Although police members exchanged fire, they retreated to a camp in southern part of the town around 2:00 am on February 9. In the evening of February 9, military sent reinforcements to recapture the township police station, it said.
