ONE Championship graced global martial arts awards presenting ceremony in conjunction with gala dinner at Marriot Hotel Grand Ballroom at 8.30 pm of the local time. 

The awarding ceremony honoured the winners with 16 prizes of different categories for a single year of 2018.

Burmese Python Aung La Nsang won two global martial arts awards in spite of being shortlisted for five prizes representing Global MMA. Male Athlete of the Year and Bout of the Year went to Aung La Nsang. Aung La Nsang won the Bout of the Year together with Japanese world champion Ken Hasegawa. 

Aung La Nsang won a knockout against challenger Japanese world champion Ken Hasegawa in a bout to defend the world middleweight champion title of ONE Championship-Spirit of Year on 29 June during this year.
