Offices of Wetlet Township fire service department and social welfare department in Sagaing Region were attacked with drop bombs, according to Myanmar Police Force (MPF).
The local PDF (People’s Defence Force) members flied three drones from Leinbin village to bomb the offices at about 10.40am on March 23, MPF reported.
Three bombs fell onto a street near the township fire service department and the nursery school in front of the township social welfare department and exploded.
Due to the bomb attacks, some parts of both offices were damaged while a 15-year-old boy living in Ward No.3 was wounded after being hit by shrapnel. When the bomb exploded, the boy was herding his cattle. He was sent to Wetlet Township People’s Hospital for medical treatment.
