Belarusian President concludes friendship visit to Myanmar

At the invitation of Acting President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Belarusian President H.E. Mr. Aleksandr Lukashenko, who arrived in Myanmar on a goodwill visit, departed from Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport on November 28 evening.

The delegation led by President Lukashenko left Nay Pyi Taw at around 4:30 pm on November 28. Union Prime Minister U Nyo Saw and other senior officials saw off the Belarusian leader and his delegation at the airport.

During the visit, Acting President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and President Lukashenko held bilateral talks at the Credentials Hall of the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw. Officials from both countries also signed and exchanged letters of understanding in the presence of the two leaders.

Additionally, the two heads of state held a joint press briefing at the Presidential Palace to discuss the outcomes of their meeting and cooperation between Myanmar and Belarus.
