Authorities monitoring over 250 workers in Pale returning from China

Authorities have instructed to watch over 250 local workers in Pale Township, Yinmabin District, Sagaing Region, who just arrived back from China, said member of regional parliament  Zaw Htet. 

The migrant workers returned from Shweli (Ruili) of China on December 31. 

"They arrived back in Pale from Shweli on December 31. There are over 250. The township hospital has instructed health staff members assigned in villages. The township general administration department has also instructed. They have to be watched for two weeks. Any information about their fever must be informed," said MP Zaw Htet for Pale Township Constituency No. 1. 

On February 2, a local sick man reportedly came to Pale Township from Shweli. He was sent to Monywa People's Hospital whose officials said he had just an ordinary fever. 

The over 250 returnees from China are said to be living in the villages of Pan, Taungywathit, Shwelaung, Ywatha, Leingon and Ywahtin in Pale Township.
