A homemade bomb was thrown into Nanshae Taiktaw power substation located on 66th Street between 17th Street and 18th Street in Dawnabwar Ward, Aungmyaethazan Township, and Mandalay Region this morning, according to local sources.
Two unidentified men driving a motorbike arrived at the northern part of the power substation in Aungmyaethazan Township and threw off a homemade bomb.
The bomb dropped and exploded between two transformers in the substation causing oil leaks worth of about 10 million kyats.
After the bomb blast, electricity supply had to stop, according to local sources.
