The plaintiff and witnesses for the case of State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, who was charged under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Law and under Section 67 of the Telecommunications Law, have been examined and the case will be filed in addition to the indictment of President Win Myint charged under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Law at the next court hearing on October 4, said Advocate Min Min Soe.

President Win Myint, who has been charged under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Law and State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been charged under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Law, Section 8 of the Export and Import Law and Section 67 of the Telecommunications Law appeared in special court inside the Nay Pyi Taw Council compound on September 27.

"Both sides have heard the indictment on the case against the president. The next hearing will be held on October 4. After that, a plaintiff witness and a prosecutor were examined in connection with the disaster management law against the State Counsellor. At the end of the trial, there had no more plaintiff witness and the indictment will be ruled in next court hearing on October 4,” she said.

Although the two sides have already examined the witnesses in the case of the State Counsellor filed under Section 8 of the Export and Import Law, both sides will hear the case about the additional witnesses submitted by the prosecutor on September 27 and will rule at the next court hearing, she said.

“After that case, another case being investigated under Section 67 of the Telecommunications Law is brought to the court. The judge mainly questioned the prosecutor from previous court hearing,” she said.

Although the defense lawyers submitted the search warrant issued by the Zabuthiri Township Court under No.11 of General Criminal Case in connection with the case filed against the State Counsellor on February 19, 2021 as evidence, the court did not allow it, she said.

"The prosecutor objected as usual. The court did not allow us to testify. After that, the case is being investigated. After the trial, there had no more plaintiff witness and the indictment will be ruled in next court hearing,” she said.

The court hearing for President Win Myint, who was charged under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Law and State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, who was charged under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Law, Section 8 of the Export and Import Law and Section 67 of the Telecommunications Law, are held every Monday. The case against the President, the State Counsellor and Dr Myo Aung charged under Section 505 (b) of the Penal Code and the case against the State Counsellor charged under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Law are being heard every Tuesday, and all cases will be finalized within 180 days, which was decided on crime management meeting held on June 7.
