Myanmar has ranked third among ASEAN countries in the Covid-19 infection rates by surpassing Singapore, according to Worldometer. 

According to the figures available till 8 pm on November 6, Singapore had 58,049 Covid-19 cases while Myanmar had 59,277 cases. 

In the ASEAN region, Indonesia sees the highest with over 420,000 cases, the Philippines the second highest with over 390,000 cases and Myanmar the third highest with 59,277 cases. 

Globally, Myanmar currently ranks 76th in the infection rate. 

Malaysia sees the fifth highest with 38,189 cases followed by Thailand with 3,818 cases, Vietnam with 1,212 cases, Cambodia with 292 cases, Brunei with 148 cases, Timor-Leste with 30 cases and Laos with 24 cases. 

When it comes Covid-19 death rates in the ASEAN region, there have been 14,442 deaths in Indonesia, 7,461 in the Philippines, 179 in Malaysia, 1,376 in Myanmar, 60 in Thailand, 35 in Vietnam, 28 in Singapore, seven in Cambodia, three in Brunei and no deaths in Laos and Timor-Leste. 

The whole world has seen 49,343,065 Covid-19 cases, 1,243,986 deaths and 35,131,208 recoveries, according to the figures till the night of November 6.
