Actor Paing Takhon has today announced the official cancellation of the accepted events on his social media page.

"At 4 am on this day last year, I suffered for almost a year, but I understand that there are people who have more difficulties than I have now, so in the meantime I have officially canceled all the events I had accepted," he wrote on his social media page.

The actor's first appearance after his release from the prison was the COVID-19 vaccination ceremony. The event that was attended before the announcement was an event organized by Samsung Myanmar.

Paing Takhon, who was named the world’s most handsome face, also has a large fan base in some ASEAN countries. The actor was jailed under Section 505 of the Penal Code and was released on an amnesty this year.
