A female ward administrator from Sanywaytan ward in Thonze, Tharyarwaddy Township, Bago Region was shot dead on September 11.

According to the information of a woman was shot dead at Tharyar Aye village, security forces went there. According to local sources, ward administrator Daw Theint Theint Lwin when riding a motorcycle with her daughter from the village to Thonze, was shot dead near Tharyar Aye village. The two men on another motorcycle riding behind them shot her and fled the scene. She was died on the spot.

Security forces are being investigating the case to arrest those involved.
