A Chinese national working at the IT department in a construction company in Shwelinban industrial zone, Hlaing Tharyar Township, was stabbed to death on May 12 according to Yangon Region North District police force.

He was found dead in a vehicle on U Tun Nyo street in Shwelinban industrial zone on May 11 3:30 pm. Upon investigation, it was found that he was a 63 years old IT professional at a construction company that lived at Min Theddi Kyawzwa Street. His body sustained 3 fatal stab wounds and died from the injuries.

“According to the CCTV footage and witnesses, the Chinese man was driving his car and later a quarrel occurred with those driving a motorcycle concerning who is right and who is wrong on traffic. The men on the motorcycle committed that crime, the witnesses said. But, the case is under investigation,” said an official from the police station.
