The Myanmar government has been conducting a multi-stakeholder joint operation in the Shwe Kokko area and Myawady-Mae Htaw Tha Lay (KK Park) areas, where online fraud and online gambling are most prevalent, by entering and clearing illegal buildings, systematically destroying and sealing up seized items and illegal buildings used in online fraud and gambling operations. The arrested people are being kept in good condition at the Myoma Sports Ground on Hlaing Htake Khaung Tin Road, Ward No.4, Myawady for necessary personal information verification.

In addition, five three-story buildings and three one-story buildings, a total of eight, were found in Ward No.3, Myawady, that were used for online fraud and gambling activities, and were demolished to prevent them from being used again.
