According to May 28 news announcement by state-owned MRTV, Chin State's Tonzang and Sagaing Region's Tamu Township are now placed under a stay-at-home order because there allegedly were many Covid-19 positive cases found within those two regions.
The order limits grouping of people with rules such as only allowing one person from a household to leave for grocery trips and so on as well as placing restrictions on vehicles going from one area to another.
MRTV says that breaching those orders will mean punishment by law and will come into effect today.
